Is the part of a device, website, interface etc, that gives users information needed. Informational / Instructional design will teach users in the most effective way, how to use the device and make sure that there is a clear understanding and that the user leaves with knowledge of that device for both present and future reference.

What is interactive design? Well at a glance it may seem a bit overwhelming and in a way it is. However, when simplified, interactive design is the creation of devices, interfaces etc that require the input or participation of the user to function, be effective and be efficient.

How to make toast

1. Plug toaster in
2. Adjust heating levels of toaster to your liking
3. Take 1 to 2 slices of bread
4. Place bread in toaster slots
5. press button/ press lever
6. Wait for toast to pop out
7. Wait for toast to cool
8. Is toast to your liking?
9. Take toast out of toaster
10. Spread desired spread on toast
11. Unplug toaster
12. Put toaster way
13. Enjoy your perfect toast.

web 2.0, what is it? To some it means a revolution to others a realm that slyly integrated itself into our everyday lives. However despite the many thoughts the world may have on web 2.0, the truth will soon be revealed.

Web 2.0 has technically always been around since the begining of the internet for web 1.0 and 2.0 have always worked together. It is only in recent times that web 2.0 has become more prominent. Previous to this the internet would only be used for reading. Basically the user had no way of inputing information of opinion. Now with web 2.0 user input is now possible and networking websites and blogging is flourishing. The participation and ideas of the user is now a major part if the internet and communication.
